The European Parliament adopts a resolution drawing attention to the growing involvement of China and North Korea in Russia's war against Ukraine. MEPs stressed that Moscow is drawing military and economic support from these countries, which is enabling it to continue its aggression and prolong the conflict.

Parliament called on EU Member States to speed up and expand the delivery of military aid to Ukraine, including arms and ammunition. At the same time, it called on the European Commission to strengthen sanctions against companies and individuals who are helping Russia to circumvent the restrictions.

MEPs also warned of the geopolitical consequences of Russia's cooperation with authoritarian regimes and called on the EU to coordinate its actions with partners such as the United States and NATO. They stressed that only a strong and united response can prevent the further spread of Russian influence and the destabilisation of Europe.
